OVERVIEW

In the first portion of the day, participants will build skill in running effective, equitable hiring processes for school operations roles by defining clear job responsibilities and competencies, analyzing strong interview tasks and questions, and evaluating sample candidate responses. Participants will also get access to SchoolOps' Ops Hiring Toolkit to use in building their own interview processes.

In the afternoon, participants will strengthen their ability to navigate difficult conversations with clarity and care. Through structured preparation, role play and reflection, participants will develop strategies to communicate feedback clearly and directly while also fostering trust and strengthening relationships.
