OVERVIEW

The workshop will incorporate research-based instructional strategies and provide opportunities for application through real-world scenarios in service of building participants’ capacity to implement high-impact practices that meet the needs of all learners. The morning session will include an overview of high-leverage practices (HLP) for effective implementation of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) through video and case study exploration. The afternoon will go deeper into a particular HLP and offer participants time to apply the HLP to their own unique role in their community. The session will cater to a range of participants across K-12 education.
